beneluxboy@livejournal.com BioI'm a writer and editor living in Seattle. Most of the bread comes from computer documentation, but most of the motivation comes from an urge to explore— new places and inner spaces. Currently, I help make Xbox games possible and better, which makes for any interesting sense of conflict: there's so much to explore in a good game, but I want more connection with the real world.
I feel like I've veered wildly off track the last few years, but also like I understand better now why the things I've intended to really make happen for so long are, in fact, the right things to do. This first half of 2006 has led to a lot more clarity; I have hope for being more proactive than reactive.
Writing a public journal requires sometimes either less detail or "friends-only" entries (which requires the reader to be logged into a LiveJournal account that I've designated as a friend). Sometimes the latter is the only reasonable choice.
What is "Benelux"? The Low Countries in economic mode.
Here's a list of the top ten recording artists whose music I've played while at the computer — mostly while at work — since 12 August 2005, according to Last.fm. This is updated automatically... or it's supposed to be (lag time can be significant).
